Is it time for spring break?? I am ready to be on a nice, warm, beach!!
Well, I survived my first 2 weeks of lpn-rn school! I passed my first check off validation and my first test with a B. (the test are written as state board questions so they are NOT pleasant at all.) Bill Cosby once said "In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure." Trying to follow that.
Nick goes to his ENT doctor next week to start the process of whatever they are going to do for his Tinnitus. He is really ready to start flying. He is not the type to sit around and do nothing. You wouldn't believe the amount of housework that gets done while I'm in class and at work since he is so bored!! ;) ;) hehe! Just kidding, I can't complain he does help and I do appreciate it!
The girls are doing great. We are signing then BOTH up for gymnastics, I am so excited!! (they will be too once they know what exactly gymnastics is!) Hannah will be in the Mommy & me class & Haley will be in the preschool class where I will have to watch her through the glass. I don't think they will be able to start until March due to the crazy deadlines they set. I am still looking into preschools for Haley to start this fall. I think she will end up going to the preschool program on post, she is ready! (she even told me "Mommy! I ready for school now!" I said okay, well lets go get you signed up....she said "You staying there too right!?!" hehe!) I'm hoping we will meet some girls her age in gymnastics.
We are looking forward to a visit from Sara & Jay next weekend. They got the girls a hobby horse for Christmas and are going to drive it down. (not the horse literally! Ha!) The girls LOVE that horse!! We are so ready for spring break, we will have all the kids!! We talk to them every Wednesday, miss those lil boogers! I told Kayla to remember she can call me anytime she wants to and she said really!?!? "what if I want to call when you are sleeping!!!?" I told her ANYtime is okay with us. Too cute. I think the kids will enjoy spending spring break together.
Hope ya'll are doing okay! Miss everyone!

New Year, New Plans
Hope everyone is having a Happy New Year! 2011 is going to be mighty busy for us here in Alabama! I have started my RN classes and boy is it overwhelming! I am not a "bookworm" but will have to be one for the next 18months. I am working full time until next month and then I will most likely go down to one 12hr shift so I can focus on school. I'm nervous, determined, overwhelmed, and excited all at the same time. The girls are doing wonderful, they sure are growing fast. I cannot believe I have a 3yr old and a 1yr old! Where did my babies go!? Hannah is walking everywhere and is into everything. She is talking alot, too! She says "there's Bella!" now, she is so funny. Haley is growing like a weed too! My big 3yr old. She will be starting preschool most likely in the fall. We are looking around at schools for her. She is ready. The girls have a wonderful babysitter named Blythe. Haley sometimes calls her, her "wife." hehe! Blythe's husband is in flight school with Nick & they have a baby girl, Jade. The girls really enjoying her and all the fun stuff she does with them. We appreciate her so much! I am looking forward to not working as much so I have more time to study and even more time for my girls. Nick is on hold right now for SERE training & will be for at least a month. Even though he is "bored" and wants to get started this is good for us due to the length of my schooling. He has been working on his Camero and I have to say it is looking pretty nice! That is pretty much all that is new with us! (pretty boring people, huh :) ) Hopefully I will blog again within 6 months, :).
